• Full service means creating a turnkey design for your project, from the initial concept to the final installation. We plan, design + execute.

• It is about letting our team handle all the details from research to selection, purchasing, and coordinating the installation.

• Full service can apply to a single room, group of rooms or entire home.

• Many of our clients like to work in phases. Our full-service projects are done one or more complete rooms at a time.

• Full service applies even if you already own some of the pieces we will use to complete your project.

• The Conceptual Design Phase typically takes approximately 4-6 weeks.

• The Detailed Development + Design Phase takes approximately 6-8 weeks.

• The Purchasing and Execution Phase is time-dependent on your customized scope of work and the contractor’s schedule.

• Design Bites are a single day service.

DPI believes investment planning + budget development early on is critical to a successful project + happy, well-prepared clients. No surprises!

We will create tailored designs specific to your home, curated for your needs. This means your investment level will vary.

DPI conducts extensive Investment Planning + Budget Development so you know how much YOUR project will cost, based on that customized Scope of Work. This happens before we begin to design.

Here are some general guidelines of what you can expect:

• Design investment of 20-30% for remodeling, new construction, or furnishing projects $150,000 and below.

• Design investment of 5-15% for remodeling, new construction, or furnishing projects $150,000 and above.

• Design Bites are significantly less as they happen in a single day.

DPI uses a hybrid model fee structure. This means using a combination of flat fees + retainers.

• Flat Fees - These are used during the Design Planning + Development phases of your project. Flat fees are based on your customized Scope of Work. Our clients know exactly how much it will cost for us to create a detailed Design Plan.

NOTE: We have streamlined processes + know how long it will take our internal team to develop a Design Plan.

• Retainers - We use retainers during the execution portion of your project. You only pay for services rendered.
